Reading Truck Body Unveils Next-Generation Service Body at the 2020 Work Truck Show
READING, PA. (March 2, 2020) – Reading Truck Body, a premier truck equipment manufacturer, kicked off the 2020 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN. with the unveiling of its newly redesigned Aluminum Classic II service body and a brand new Master Mechanic crane body. Both the Aluminum Classic II and Master Mechanic MM120 and MM220 are built to meet the rugged day-to-day demands customers and fleets experience.
“We understand our customers’ work extends far beyond paved roads and tidy job sites. Their work is gritty and rugged, therefore our truck bodies need to be able to stand up in the harshest conditions,” said Alan Farash, President, Reading Truck Group. “We’re very excited to showcase these new innovations at The Work Truck Show,” said Farash.
The revamped Aluminum Classic II features a fully redesigned understructure which is rated for up to 19,500 lbs GVWR, more than any other aluminum service body Reading has ever offered. The new body also includes several new industry-leading features and options, like 50” raised compartments, CABLOC by Masterack lock-open, lock-close drawers, as well as key fob integration with the OEM chassis.
Not to be overshadowed is the brand new Master Mechanic crane body which is also on display at this year’s show. From the oil field to the construction site, the light-weight MM120 and MM220 crane body equips class 4–5 chassis with up to 4,000 lbs of lifting power.
“Our new Master Mechanic crane body is one of the most nimble and versatile you’ll find,” said Farash. “These next-generation bodies are our way of reminding customers and the industry that Reading has the grit it takes to deliver the best work truck bodies on the market today.”
Attendees can experience all the truck bodies on display in Reading’s booth #5149 for more information.
